Dynatuners executed a technical upgrade leveraging the data migration framework to convert AX 2012 project data including historical transactions, unbilled revenue, and WIP calculations to Dynamics 365 F&O. The Project Accounting module was configured to support time and materials contracts with customer-specific billing rules, retention percentages, and indirect cost allocation based on project types. Custom project categories were established for labor, equipment rental, parts, and subcontractor services with appropriate revenue recognition rules. Integration with mobile timekeeping applications was implemented using OData endpoints enabling field technicians to submit hours against specific projects and activities.
